Skiing

At a base elevation of 1,800m and lifts taking you quickly up to 3,600m, the skiing in this resort is fantastic. The high elevation area of skiing virtually guarantees snow skiing year-round. Cable cars, trams, chairs, and an underground funicular train take you up from the resort base to the top quickly with no queues.

The variety of terrain is excellent for beginners, intermediates, as well as experts. Skiing in an area which is surrounded by spectacular glaciers and mountains, offers dramatic views in all directions. Including the nearby world-class resort of Zermatt, there is more than a combined total of 450km of skiing!

New renovations included two new chair lifts, and the Morenia Point lodge at the top of the Alpine Express tram. Also, extensive snow-making equipment has been installed recently.
