WaikoloaWaikoloa Beach Golf Course
Winding its way through ancient lava fields along the breathtaking Kohala coastline, Waikoloa’s Beach Course is, quite simply, resort golf at its finest. But don’t let the swaying coconut trees and gentle ocean breeze lull you into a false sense of security. The Beach Course can also be a significant challenge for quality players. The classic Robert Trent Jones Jr. design was literally carved from the lava flow along the picturesque Anaeho’omalu Bay. Immaculate greens are well-guarded by numerous white sand bunkers and strategically placed water features. The crowning glory of the Beach Course is the 502-yard par 5 twelfth—known throughout the islands as the most spectacular oceanfront par-five in Hawaii. Not only is it a challenging golf hole, it’s a great place to watch humpback whales and catch splendid views of the other Hawaiian Islands. Par 70, 6566 yards, Slope: 134, Rating 71.6

Kings Waikoloa Kings' Golf Course
For a rigorous test of golf skills, no facility on the Kohala Coast compares with Waikoloa’s unique Kings’ Course. Designed by former British Open champion Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, the Kings’ Course offers golfers the best of two worlds; golf in an island paradise, on a course that more closely resembles a layout along the coast of Scotland. But with stunning views of the towering volcanoes of the Big Island framed by palm trees and vibrant flowers, you’ll have no trouble remembering that you’re golfing in paradise. The 7,000-plus yard links-style course snakes over and around an ancient lava flow and is best known for its wide undulating fairways, multiple tee placements, and challenging pot bunkers. To complete the Scottish links experience there’s even a double green at holes 3 and 6. Par 72, 7074 yards, Slope: 135, Rating: 73.4

South Mauna Lani South Course
Mauna Lani Resort South Course, renown as the former home to the annual Senior Skins Game from 1990 - 2000, snakes through the stark, rugged a'a lava of the prehistoric Kaniku lava flow. A playful fictitious Menehune by the name of Moke has been known to frequent the lava areas surrounding this course. If you should strike your ball towards the lava, don’t scream your normal superlatives, instead, yell “HELP MOKE”! If he favors you, your ball just might miraculously bounce back onto the fairway. Besides great Hawaii golf, the challenging golf course offers the player a panorama of mountain and ocean views. The South Course is home to No. 15, one of the most photographed over-the-water golf course holes in the world. With Hawaii golf vacation packages and Hawaii golf tournaments, Mauna Lani Resort offers the perfect choice for your Hawaii golf vacation. If you're thinking of a wedding this beach front resort on the Kohala coast features a 343-room luxury hotel, the perfect location for your Hawaii wedding. Before the big day the groomsmen can take in 18 holes at this award winning Hawaii golf resort while the bridal party is pampered at the tropical resort spa.

North Mauna Lani North Course
The North Course, although a Hawaii resort course, is fast becoming known as the Mauna Lani Resort's tournament golf course. A bit more difficult than the South Course, this course displays a much different face of Hawaii Golf. Built on a lava bed much older than the Kaniku flow (on which the South Course lies), it is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by Kiawe (mesquite) forests. Trees often come into play on this Hawaii golf course. Number 17, a par three tucked into a natural lava amphitheater, is another one of Mauna Lani Resort's signature holes and a favorite "I was here" photo spot. A 230-acre protected archaeological district lies on the northern boundary of the golf course. Herds of feral goats frequent the entire golf course, moving from hole to hole throughout the day.

Maunakea Mauna Kea Golf Course
Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Mauna Kea Golf Course remains the standard by which all other island courses are judged. This legendary masterpiece offers golfers the perfect challenge to match their level of play.

Covering 230 acres of beautiful landscape, the 18-hole, 72-par championship course presents dramatic changes in elevation, large undulating greens, and 120 well-placed bunkers. There are incredible panoramic sweeps of sea and land, featuring snow-capped Mauna Kea, rugged lava beds, and the sparkling blue Pacific. One of the most spectacular features is the famous Third Hole – where surging inlet water races to meet the rocky shoreline, affording one of the most breathtaking views in golf today.

Hapuna Hapuna Beach Golf Course
In 1997, the U.S. Golf Association named Hapuna "The Course of the Future." This Arnold Palmer/Ed Seay-designed 18-hole championship course is nestled into the dramatic natural contours of the land from the shoreline to about 700 feet above sea level. This beautiful course features spectacular views of the Kohala Coast and the Pacific, with snow-capped Mauna Kea volcano as a backdrop. Hapuna's challenging play and environmental sensitivity make it one of Hawaii's most unique golf courses.

Hapuna Golf Course is within easy walking distance of Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel with a full range of facilities and services.

Hualalai Four Seasons Hualalai Golf Course
Like all the other splendid amenities of the Resort, the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature Hualalai Golf Course has been crafted with extreme sensitivity to the land. Winding over 7,100 yards, this carefully groomed course begins in a lush kipuka (oasis) and then flows across brilliant green fairways contoured against black lava. Finally, the course returns to the ocean, where the finishing holes capture the drama and the beauty of direct seaside golf. After an exhilarating game, relax in the clubhouse where tropical refreshments, ocean views and a club-away-from-home experience await you.
